Info : The house concept derived from the history of the region, considering the presence of Sarakatsanoi race. Because of their nomadic lifestyle they created a spontaneous and primitive architectural form with ephemeral character, achieving a balanced relationship between functionality and economy. The house of Sarakatsanoi (konaki) was a hut made of twigs with clay onto a wooden frame. The architecture of the house follows the simplistic form of konaki, having as philosophy successful relationship between function and morphology. The triangular form in conjunction with the use of natural materials like wood and stone, maintains the harmony with the natural mountain environment.
